Summary: I used the included software, but the unit couldn't maintain a stable wireless connection, despite the router sitting 3 feet away. I disabled the hardware, and just plugged in a Rosewill USB wireless device that I stole from my TV, and it has been rock-solid. So, while it worked, it didn't work well for me.
Summary: I have two, used for Home Theater Personal Computers. Consistently get 20 MB/sec, handles streaming HD with no problem. Hardware install easier than most PCI cards, software install couldn't be easier with Linux and Windows. Comes with both PCI regular and low-profile connector plates. Don't tell Rosewill, they'll raise the price.
Summary: I bought this to replace another wireless card on my son's computer because he bumped the antenna and broke the connector. I installed the card and the drivers and the card is working perfectly. It's getting a 100% signal to the router which is on the far side of the house. I think this is an excellent value and would not hesitate to purchase another Rosewill product.
Summary: Got here faster than expected, though that seems to be the norm with most of my Amazon purchases. This card is a tiny little thing, even comes with a slim chassis bracket. The cord is kinda short (isn't it always lol) and the antenna is slightly smaller than a normal wifi card. I anticipated this and actually ordered a larger one with 6ft cord is just hasn't got here yet. This one works just fine though. Knocking off one star because the included drivers are worthless.
Summary: This card is easy to install. All you need to do is open up your computer and slide the card into the PCI slot on the motherboard. Connect the antenna to the card. Put the driver mini disc in, looks like a Gamecube game, and follow the instructions. The program automatically optimizes your connection with any internet explorer. You don't have to go to control panel and establish a new connection. That's it! That's all that I did and it works great!
