Summary: I used the included software, but the unit couldn't maintain a stable wireless connection, despite the router sitting 3 feet away. I disabled the hardware, and just plugged in a Rosewill USB wireless device that I stole from my TV, and it has been rock-solid.
Summary: I bought this to replace another wireless card on my son's computer because he bumped the antenna and broke the connector. I installed the card and the drivers and the card is working perfectly. It's getting a 100% signal to the router which is on the far side of the house.
Summary: Got here faster than expected, though that seems to be the norm with most of my Amazon purchases. This card is a tiny little thing, even comes with a slim chassis bracket. The cord is kinda short (isn't it always lol) and the antenna is slightly smaller than a normal wifi card.
Summary: This card is easy to install. All you need to do is open up your computer and slide the card into the PCI slot on the motherboard. Connect the antenna to the card. Put the driver mini disc in, looks like a Gamecube game, and follow the instructions.
Summary: I bought this card for my Windows 7 64-bit desktop, and it improved the speed greatly from the USB adapter it was replacing. I didn't use the CD that came with it (I didn't even try), Windows 7 installed the drivers automatically from my USB adapter.
Summary: My computer is set up against a wall and the old wireless card just was not receiving any signal down by the baseboard. Got two bars in Windows at most. Bought this guy and now I'm at full reception.
