Summary: Less stress than climbing in the attic, drilling holes, running fish tape, etc. Very good and useful for what we needed it for. Provides a solid wired connection particularly where your wireless signal may not reach or is a bit weak.
Summary: I've used these for about two years now to expand hard line ethernet cables in my home and it works very well. No issues, just plug in and you are good to go! Fast internet anywhere in your house you have a power line. It even works on my power strips with no lag!
Summary: I had to use this when we moved into our house. The previous owners had internet cable going to the basement and moving it to the main floor would cost more drilling into the house. I used Netgear adapter to connect one to the modem and other to the router on the main floor. The connection works perfectly and no issues so far. I have been using thin for the last 24 months.
Summary: We replaced the older XE102 units with these as our isp ramped up the speed and it really makes a nice difference in web browsing. We have found the refurbished units from this seller to be reliable and because the price is reasonable, it's only a little pain when they eventually stop working and need to be replaced. I use a 6"-8" lighted extension cord from the wall to the unit although they recommend against extension cords.
