Summary: I like the product. I did what the instructions said; I plugged one into an outlet, hooked a Cat5e cable from my modem to the device, and plugged the second device in my bedroom to my computer. The speeds are alright; I pay for the 105/20 package from comcast. I normally get around 125/24 directly connected from my modem. With this device, I get 54/24. The upload is still fantastic, but the download was cut in half. Still a great product.
Summary: Less stress than climbing in the attic, drilling holes, running fish tape, etc. Very good and useful for what we needed it for. Provides a solid wired connection particularly where your wireless signal may not reach or is a bit weak.
Summary: I've used these for about two years now to expand hard line ethernet cables in my home and it works very well. No issues, just plug in and you are good to go! Fast internet anywhere in your house you have a power line. It even works on my power strips with no lag!
Summary: I had to use this when we moved into our house. The previous owners had internet cable going to the basement and moving it to the main floor would cost more drilling into the house. I used Netgear adapter to connect one to the modem and other to the router on the main floor. The connection works perfectly and no issues so far. I have been using thin for the last 24 months.
