Not robust for the price

  • Summary: We use for small business. Doesn't handle multiple connections well. Meaning more than 59 devices. Such as laptops phones tablets etc. signal strength is great though.

Not as powerful as existing access point

Live Right Wellness Centers, Amazon
21 July 2013
  • Summary: I was expecting 5 bars for a larger area than the existing AT&T access point ... but alas no. This product seems to be weaker even when placed as instructed on a wall facing towards the coverage area.

Works well, but has the typical poor interface of most Netgear products

B.Wallace, Amazon

  • Summary: The product works well and has a range on par with similar business class units (older 802.11 'g' type). The support of VLANs and multiple security profiles makes setting up multiple user types (Employee, Guest, etc.) with different accesses easy with the right switching equipment. The unit also supports PoE, BUT requires two 802.3af cables to run in 3x3 MIMO mode (it can be accomplished using a single PoE+ '802.3at' cable also).
