Summary: It was fine at first, but after a while I started experiencing the same network connection drops as everybody else. Unplugging it and plugging it back in allows it to reconnect, but only for a few minutes-a few hours.
Pros: Works well when it works. Decent speed, though not close to 300Mbps.
Cons: Doesn't work very often. Worthless software. No support from Netgear.
Summary: I bought this to replace an old and slow Belkin product. I am using the Belkin to write this review. The Netgear worked sometimes on my Dell Windows 7 machine. When it did, it was fast (25 compared to the Belkin's 4 or 5), but I cannot ever get it to work consistently.
Cons: Keeps dropping the signal. I have owned this for about 2 months and now it drops the signal 4-5 times a day. This isn't something that can be fixed with RMA if you read the other reviews. It is a faulty product.
Very disappointed in Netgear. This product is worthless.

Summary: Frankly, I didn't hold out a lot of hope for this item and my concerns were borne out. I will outline the issues encountered below: - Worked for about a day, then dropped connection twice in a half hour. Had to disable and then re-enable in Device Manager to get it working again.
Summary: Will never use or recommend this company to anyone again - even people I don't like
Pros: No change (price)
Cons: Mentioned in the original review about how these refurbs are sold all over everywhere in quantities, and think I see why now, In Michael S review, he mentions that Netgear will be happy to help resolve issues on these refurbs for only 39.99 :) more than what they ccost new. Guess there is a metho...
Summary: Really wonder how many of these things are just plain bad, in looking around these (refurbs ) are sold all over the world and available in quantity, further they refuse to tell you who does the refurb work, implying it may have been done by the Egg, so who knows what you get.
Pros: Price on these refurbs
Cons: No driver disk as advertised, to get drivers, need to register. To register need to have serial number, which is blacked out. Netgear was far from 'helpful' and refuse to answer direct question. Their support people even outright lie, and one point claiming to pass me to a supervisor when in fact...
