Summary: It's a wireless access point. While I was forewarned by other reviewers about the default IP address this didn't present as much difficulty to change as some found. My issues are not with the device but with Amazon calling this a 4 port when it so clearly has only one port.
Summary: Well i picked this up because my favorite access point the WPN802 rangemax is discontinued and just wanted a replacement as i have a dsl router already so dont need that part. I got lucky and mine was the v2 with the latest frmware already installed so looks like they are all v2 from amazon.
False Advertising- this is a WN802Tv2, NOT a WN802T

Summary: I own a pair of the Netgear WN802T WAPs, and am quite pleased with them. I use them to bridge two LAN segments together in my apartment. One in the closet, where the AT&T U-Verse Residential Gateway resides, and the second in my second bedroom, where my office is. Setup is a breeze.
Summary: I have computers in several locations in my house, and tried using the network over power (sling box) to provide a wired network. The house wiring had problems supporting the connections in two rooms, so I wasn't able to achieve what I needed to do.
Summary: Some products rather quickly settled into a rating, either being good or bad, or something in the middle. Other products are little more complicated, with the rating being determined by both the product and the expectations of the users.
Spartan both in functionality and documentation, but works.

Summary: So here's the deal: if all you do is surf the web on your laptop, or you're looking for a 'plug and play' wireless-N routing solution this is NOT the product for you. If you are a medium to advanced computer user and are looking to add Wireless-N speeds to your existing network, this Netgear product...
Summary: I purchased a WN802Tv2. I have all Netgear equipment and it is usually reliable. However, this unit is flakey. Apparently i have been reading stuff on other websites that complain about the same problem. If you have demanding applications, like a game, it drops pretty fast.
Summary: Unstable, unstable, did I say unstable? Went to mfg website, installed firmware update. Still unstable. maybe if you install DDWRT or Tomato it will work fine, not sure. Netgear has reputation for good h/w, so if you can get s/w stable should be good unit.
Summary: I bought this to be a wirless extender for my house. I have the Nighthawk router which does cover all of my house but for streaming in the back room it could lag a bit. This was extremely easy to hook up and get set up.
