Summary: After reading the product description I was all in. Sounded perfect. I couldn't get it to talk to my Linksys wi fi router. Even in wired mode. 2 hours on the phone with (technical) support still no resolution. I was finally told to restart my system, change my password, and call back. customer service (where purchase was made) is awesome.
Pros: Small form factor, definite range increase. Push and Connect using Wi-Fi Protected Setup works easily with a Netgear router. Solved my Netflix streaming stutter due to weak router signal
Cons: It would have been nice for to know before purchasing that I would have to broadcast the routers SSID for this extender to connect. While the device works fine, it literally creates 'another' wifi network to connect to. So your wifi device connects to your router or to the extender and must be manually changed.
Excerpt: Sets up another network, like a router, rather than extending the range of your existing network, like a repeater. End devices drop one network to pick this one up and vice versa, depending on relative signal strength. Which means lots of drops.
Pros: Solid construction, fairly easy setup. True dual-band extension (rather than 2.4Ghz for g & n.
Cons: This unit requires that you set up a new set of SSIDs, rather than extending/repeating what you currently have. That requirement is not listed anywhere in the details of this unit, and defeats the purpose of what I got it for.
Wish it was faster, but still works well regardless

Summary: The Netgear WN3500RP eliminated all the dead wifi-dead-spots in my home. The set up is very easy. It was literally up and running within 10 minutes. Areas of the house that used to have low reception now had "full bars" according to my Ipad. The trick of course is to find a place in your house that still has a good signal but is close enough to the "dead spots" that it will cover those areas once it's turned on.
Summary: Très bien ! facile à installer et réellement efficace.
