Summary: I read several reviews on range extenders and this one in particular before making a purchase. The Netgear 2500 works as well or better than the best reviews I read. It didn't sync with my Netgear Router using the easiest technique, but option two was quick and easy and it was laid out in very simple to follow directions in the accompanying booklet.
Summary: It appears to work just as I had hoped it would. My network range is extended and while, I am still making changes with network access and internet connection status, I am pleased with the product!
Summary: While visiting my son-in-law I noticed the Extender sitting in his den and asked if he had bought a new router. He explained that it was a signal extender and told me how it worked. After hearing how it had solved his internet wireless signal problems, I thought it might do the same for me. The installation was simple, so I quickly had it up and running on my main floor. My router is on the second floor. I soon saw positive results from the extender.
Summary: Unit was easy to setup. I got this as a replacement for a unit of another brand. I needed more power and I needed to hook it up to a wifi extender for my security camera system. This unit setup very quickly, and connected easily to my wifi extender of the same brand. I have only had the unit for a short time, but so far has performed flawlessly.
Summary: I recently finished a bonus room above the garage. This room is intended as a place for my children to watch tv and play their video games, so that I may reclaim the living room as a room for adults and guests. This extender coupled with the dual band gigabit router we already had provides a great wifi signal throughout our entire home with no dead spots. Set up was extremely simple.
Summary: I installed this on my lunch hour. It was super simple, and I have had no issues with it failing randomly. It's only been one week of use so far. This is how WiFi in a house is supposed to work! All over access.
