Summary: It lasted exactly 6 months. Long enough to be out of warranty, but certainly not the service life I expected. It started slowly dying and intermittently losing connection. This is not a reliable piece of equipment. It is inexpensive but it simply won't hold up. Six months and you need a new nic.

Summary: Side by side compared to a similar Cisco unit, these connect at 11Mbps while the Cisco unit connects at 104Mbps to the same wireless router. Bought two and both are going to Goodwill tomorrow. Never bought a Netgear product which I kept and used, should have known better.

Summary: I'm sure this is a great product, but I purchased it for use with an older Mac that we've kept around forever for the kids to use. This adapter is incompatible with Mac. If I'd read thoroughly through the comments and questions, I could have seen it, but I didn't so it was my bad.
