Summary: I had two "wifi dead" rooms in my house. Signal was weak, at best, and not reliable. Got this after reading a review. Followed the instructions and had WIFI in the "dead rooms" within 10 minutes. Got what I wanted at a price I was happy with.
Excerpt: I really like this. it makes it alot easier for me to get wifi all though my house. it also gives me a very strong connections so that i dont have to reposition myself somewhere else in the house to to be able to do what i want in a timely manner.
Excerpt: Bought this for my grandson to use in his bedroom which is the fairest away from the net work box. He just got a Play Station 4 and he saidthis really works and makes his signals stronger. He is very happy with it.
Excerpt: I had a Wi-Fi unit for about 5 years so I knew I was ready for a newer, better one. I explained my situation and the Staples tech referred me to NetGear. It works great for my residence, but just didn't extend out to the patio, from my home office. The NetGear Extender is terrific.
Excerpt: My laptop is located on one end of our home and my router is on the other end. A computer, in the den, near the router, receives a strong 5-bar signal whereas, my laptop receives a Wi-Fi signal of 1 to 2 bars.

Summary: I purchased one of these and the configuration could not be simpler. You un-package it, plug it into the wall, wait for the status light turned green, press the WPS button on the very bottom left and then go to your wireless router and press the WPS button. That's it.
