Good when it works (which it doesn't most of the time)

Summary: I bought this for use in my apartment. After a trying installation process made even more difficult by the fact that virtually no instructions on how to setup the unit were included, I was actually quite surprised at how well it worked. It boosted my wear 2-bar signal to a full 5 bars; which it maintained for as long as it was working.
Pros: Does boost wifi strength pretty significantly
Cons: Doesn't come with (much) instruction on how to setup
Summary: I've since ditched these and gone for powerline with a wireless access point on the end. I didn't find these to extend the wireless range by much. Having lots of overlapping networks with EXT on the end was confusing too. If you use this at any distance i.e. the next room from the access point, the wifi booster is retransmitting a weak signal so you really don't gain much. Best to have a few overlapping access points if you have a large area to cover.
