Amazing, useful product, but requires basic knowledge

DFFranklin, Amazon
1 January 2013
  • Summary: I've been using two of these units in a fairly large house for about four years+. We have very thick adobe and masonry walls that obliterate wi-fi signal from our main router, so we use the power lines to feed wireless to the rest of the house through the WGX102 access points.

No support from Manufacturer

James P. Belanger, Amazon
30 March 2012
  • Summary: I've had three of these units. You would think I'd learn! The first crapped out and customer support was not responsive. The second worked intermittently and would disconnect without notice or reason.

Dead

Odonatas, Amazon
16 October 2008
  • Summary: It worked nicely for awhile but as expected it died, took just 8 months. I've plugged in my back up unit but I think it's time to look for a different powerline unit

worked initially, then stopped

annlucille, Amazon
15 October 2008
  • Summary: No way to trouble shoot - no way to see inside the device. After the 100+ dollars spent, you'd think you wouldn't just have to throw it away. What a waste.

Worked poorly, then broke!

Mr. Peepers, Amazon
11 October 2008
  • Summary: This thing was a major hassle from the start. Difficult to set up (even for an experienced computer user like me). Once it was set up, it took about 5 minutes to get an IP address every time I connected to it.
