mr314 netgear router

ogeezitsjames808, Ebay
25 October 2010
  • Summary: i was actually very disappointed in the router mr314 netgear wireless was pretty much useless. After weeks of trying, i contacted stroyce, and he promptly refunded me the router. I am satisfied with the customer service, but it still doesn't give me a reliable wireless solution in my gf's place. I'm pretty sure they didn't test the wireless capabilities, as I am a IT professional and have been working on many devices, ie. itouch, laptop, and macbook pro, but to no avail.

  • Summary: Really like it. bought the NetGear two weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the way I was able to plug it in and access the net right away. The NewGear's size is perfect for placing it on top of my computer.

Netgear Mr314

Consumer Democracy

  • Summary: I have never really been disappointed with netgears products and I have always had more luck with them than linksys and d-link. This router has great features. The biggest problem I have with it is that it has to be rebooted every now and then to fix some problems. It has several ways to access its configuration - web browser, telnet, and ftp.
  • Pros: occasionally has to be reset
  • Cons: occasionally has to be reset

Very good cross-platform ADSL router

pulcinell..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: PLEASE READ ----------- This review concerns a NETGEAR WIRELESS ROUTER DG824M - NOT the MR314 ----------- I use a NETGEAR WIRELESS ROUTER DG824M to share internet connection wirelessly between a Mac laptop & a PC laptop. It wasn't difficult to configure - just follow the instructions strictly. It's just that the instructions aren't the easiest to follow. The setup is configured through a web browser (performed offline), and once done enables it to work perfectly.
  • Pros: Cross - platform, works well
  • Cons: Manual is very weak

  • Cons: magere 11Mbit Wireless
