Summary: I got the 'v2' version (GS605 v2) of this switch to put into my relatively complicated home network. I have homeplug adapters between floors, my NAT box and a media center upstairs, and several PC's and an XBox 360 downstairs, as well as a windows home server I move between upstairs and downstairs. I used this switch to connect the downstairs devices together, including the homeplug bridge. This switch is very reliable and works quite well.
Summary: The GS605 works great for what is does but, it's a RFI (Radio frequency Interference) generating hash box! If you need a switch for several computers in an RFI sensitive environment don't buy the GS605 it's just another chicom POS. This why I give the GS605 one star.
