  • Pros: Not sure yet.
  • Cons: Just received this in mail. No power supply or antenna's included with this access point. This is useless without the power supply or antenna's. This SHOULD be mentioned in the product description.

  • Pros: cost is lower than many of the FIPs 140-2 validated modules
  • Cons: We have never gotten this to work. I tried on my own, I hired the local wireless company, I tried 802.1x program solutions. The consultant contacted motorola and they told him they knew the AP did not work with the existing firmware and that I had to purchase support to get an upgrade -- BUT if you go to the NIST site and read the requirements for fips validation you will see that updating the firmware is not an option.
