Summary: I bought this unit several weeks ago. The unit works great. I like not having to deal with two units and all my lockup stoped with this all in one unit i also noticed much faster through put to and from the internet.
Summary: Purchased this Prime and had it delivered the next day. The first problem I had was that the CD it comes with runs of ancient operating systems (speaking from a Mac OS point of view). So I had to call and set everything up via phone call. So we tried that, and to Linksys' credit, everyone we talked to was very polite and friendly. Unfortunately that doesn't fix the problem.
Summary: First of all I have 2 of these and the first unit (refurbished) gave me constant headaches. I have an extensive background in technology including networks and could not get the unit to run more than a couple of days without requiring a reboot due to the ADSL losing sync. I liked the feature set so decided to try another unit and have not had one problem since. The device works and provides a decent set of features more than sufficient for the average user.
Summary: This modem-router replaces my old "Westell 'WireSpeed'" DSL router from AT&T perfectly! Plus, it allows simultaneous (direct-connect & wireless) internet access for multiple computers. Set-up documentation ("STOP - Read Me First" sheet) & on-screen instructions make this a snap to install. I called AT&T Internet Services and they gave me all the information needed to fill out the yellow "STOP & Read Me First" sheet.
Summary: This is a horrible wireless router/modem. After spending a total of 2 days and 4 phone calls to Verizon and Cisco, this unit finally became operational (if you would call it that). The accompanying installation software was useless. The wireless coverage would not even extend beyond the home office that it was installed in. Absolutely no coverage!!!
