Pros: -I has high bandwidth for a wireless usb device -It sometimes works
Cons: -Rarely holds a stable connection -Rarely holds a connection 3 feet from the router AC/B/G/N -Overheats within an hour (after 3 RMAs) and becomes unstable -Speeds vary but are usually on the low side unless you constantly remove and re-insert the device -Software is very poorly designed and doesn...
Summary: I just upgraded to Windows 10, and wanted to play the Xbox One streaming. My laptop only had 2.4ghz wifi, and tended to make the experience unplayable just across the room. I bought this, had a very simple installation, and after about an hour of testing, I am getting a WONDERFUL experience...
Summary: I work online so lots of meetings. I have a 300N wireless adapter on my laptop and the meetings are always somewhat choppy and cut in and out. Bought this to pair with a new AC router and my last few meetings went off without a hitch!

Summary: The installation of this was not as easy as it should be. I made the mistake of plugging it in first before using the cd... big mistake. I ended up having to uninstall the driver that was associated with the drive then use the cd to properly install it.
Summary: I can get over 200mbs download on my internet with this product. Much better than the speeds I get with the built in Wifi that is wifi N with only 2.4ghz. Not many have internet this fast, but for those that that do this can get there in the real world.
Summary: Got these refurbished and they both installed on both my USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Windows 8.1 desktops quickly without using the furnished disks. They connected instantly to my AirPort Extreme and providing strong connections to the 5gHz band (one desktop is fairly close to the router and the other one...
Summary: Wow! Speed tests on my 2.4 Ghz wireless in the basement were in the single digit Mbs. Popped this puppy into my laptop and hopped on the 5 Ghz network (laptop only support 2.4 wireless b/g/n internally). Reran speed test and I'm getting full 30 up and full 6 down (that's what I'm paying for).
Summary: Works fine on windows 7 all the way up to windows 8.1. Some may say that there is no support for windows 8.1 but there is on the linksys webpage. Just have to go and download the Drivers for it. There is currently not a windows 10 driver. Hopefully they release one here soon.
