Don't buy, it overrides windows wireless control, seeks to sell software.

Summary: I bought this to replaced my b/g low-speed dongle for my new N wireless router. This dongle's software replaced my windows wireless router software. It routenely signs off of my N wireless (same manufacturer) for no reason and must be reset. Worse, it reprogrammed my wireless system so my other wireless devices sign off without warning and must be reset. Some are simple resets, just an inconvenience.
Summary: I do not think it is the hardware so much as it is TERRIBLE driver support. The last update to this driver was 3/24/10, despite many many forum posts from disgruntled customers such as myself, complaining about this not holding a connection. I have tried 2 different routers and the same effect. The NIC will not even show up after you shut down the PC for a few minutes and reboot. You have to then unplug the adapter and plug it back in to get it to recognize.
Pros: It plugs in and works with Windows 7 64-bit
Cons: - Does not stay connected after reboot (must unplug and plug it back it for Windows to recognize it) - Intermittently slows to a crawl - bandwidth wise. Requires resetting the network adapter - Very troublesome when playing online games
Summary: This think is either total junk, or else it just does not work well with WIN7. I have downloaded the lastest supposedly working drivers, but it does not help. Avoid this dog like the plague. Worse piece of computer gear I have bought in 20 years,. I started buying and building computers in 1983.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: Constantly quits working. I have to unplug it and then plug it back in to get it to work. Then, after a while, it does it again. AS soon as my downloads drop to a snails pace, I know I have to do it again.
Summary: This device was designed to be operated in VISTA. Version 2 of this device doesn't seem to work with windows 7 - 64 bit. I'm going to try tech support again.
Pros: Not sure, it won't work.
Cons: I'm running windows 7-64 bit. I ran the CD, system crashes. I let windows discover it and load the driver. Driver doesn't work. Yes, the windows7-64 bit driver from their website. Called Tech support. Still no help.
Cons: Never could get it to work. Went to Linksys website support and followed all advice, downloaded latest driver and installed driver in Windows 7 64 bit, OS recognized it, but still no connection. The adapter was enabled.
Cons: It had less signal strength than the internal adapter of the laptop I installed it in. It would drop connections frequently. I had hoped that the higher speed would improve the performance, but, instead it degraded. I returned it.
Summary: Sorry Linksys, you lost a customer. This is the second device I bought from you that does not support a widely distributed operating system. Get your firmware and driver teams in gear.
Pros: It looks cool.
Cons: Installation is a pain. x64 drivers from Linksys (from the included CD and the website) do not work. Had to search forums for a workaround. Any time an end user has to ask end users for a workaround, the company has dropped the ball. The solution was to install Vista x64 drivers to make Win 7 recognize the device, but then every time I start my computer from sleep or hibernate, the device is not recognized. I have to unplug and replug the device for my system to recof...
Cons: started to disconnect and search for diffrent networks every half hour. uninstalled and did fresh install during install the usb adaptor wouldnt be reconized by my computer anymore. usb drive tested and are working. linksys tech support was no help.
