Summary: This is an okay product by Cisco it reaches about 90 foot no problems. But in today's market there are alot better products for about the same price. It is nice that it comes with a long USB extension
Summary: This thing has so many driver problems. Constantly Windows 7 would want to update this and if it did it would make it stop working. What a hassle to fix it and I made that mistake more than once.
Prevented PC from booting, but maybe the PC is the one to blame?
23 December 2009
Summary: I installed this on my elderly father's HP Pavilion a1600n (AMD) PC. The installation went smoothly. However, I've learned to reboot the PC before leaving the scene, and it seemed like it didn't want to boot.
Summary: This wireless n adapter is slower than any other adapter in my house. I get slower speeds with this than with my built in wireless b/g adapter in my notebook (in the same location). Even with the two "antennas" it has poor reception range.
Summary: I am not slamming the product or the dealer here... I am pretty sure this is an isolated case. I bought this as a refurbished product and I guess it was a bad one. Only after three weeks of everything running fine, it decided to start disconnecting from the network totally.
Difficulty connecting to wireless network, but I discovered how to do it
Desert Husker, Amazon
2 November 2009
Summary: I received the Linksys WUSB300N-RM Wireless N USB from Amazon (Deal Barn) just a couple of days after I ordered it. Despite being refurbished, it looks brand new. I tried installing the drivers from the enclosed CD, but after installing/uninstalling 10 times, it still wouldn't locate my home...
Summary: Works great with XP. Had problems with Vista. It worked for a while, but then slowed significantly. Could not find Vista drivers or software to try a reinstall; support on their website was poor. Problems trying to uninstall on Vista machine.
Summary: I bought this a week ago. Great value for your money. Works on XP and Vista. DOES NOT WORK ON Windows 7. Unfortunately, my main desktop I need this for runs Windows 7. I really hope Linksys releases drivers for it.
Summary: 64-bit Windows users beware, Linksys does not have compatible drivers published, and neither does anyone else. However, if you have another internet connection established, and then install the WUSB300N, it will find alternate drivers via Windows Update!
Summary: I bought this to connect a desktop to my wireless network. Its connection was largely poor even though I wasn't very far from the router and it frequently had to be reset. Perhaps it works better with laptops, but with its bulky design I doubt it.
