These routers are a great buy, but make sure you know what you're getting!

  • Summary: These are great routers. Many third-party firmware versions such as dd-wrt are freely available that allow for advanced features like wi-fi bridging, etc. Personally I actually use this as an amateur radio transceiver. My only caution about buying these routers is that there are many different models with very similar model numbers. The specific number in the listing titles (and photos too) is often incorrect.

  • Excerpt: Never loses connections. Ive had to do absolutly nothing to the little feller. The only thing is they need to be upgraded once in a while and thats why im here to find. Uall should make it easier to find the upgrade sections for these.I would definatly buy another for my three pcs at home.

  • Summary: I Have owned one of these for more years than I can remember. Maybe 6 years, I'm not quite sure. I'm amazed to see that the exact same model is still for sale. I remember the exact model name because I've heard many good things about this router (it was the reason I bought it to begin with). Rest assured that this is definitely a quality product. There's not a lot to say. It's just always worked.
  • Pros: Has worked non-stop for more years than I can remember. It apparently works better than the WRT54G.
  • Cons: No cons here for me with this one
