Love/Hate relationship.

pismodude2010 "Alex", Amazon
18 July 2008
  • Summary: It was excellent for the first year or so, then it just gave out. I suspect someone may have done something to cause it to stop working, but there appears to be no sign of damage, so I rate it at a 4, because for the price, it is worth replacing yearly.

5 stars for preformance, 2 for installation -I'll tell you how in really install this puppy

Calvinbob "Kevin", Amazon

  • Summary: After I finally got the thing working after 6 hours of tech support with Linksys, 3 hours with my ISP, and 2 hours with Microsoft, I am please with the product's performance. I'll tell you now don't waste your time with all the tech supports. Here are a few "words to the wise" on getting this thing to work, mainly because from the other reviews of this product, there seems to be a lot of unhappy people.

Set Up Bumpy But Working Great After Technical Assistance

Super G, Amazon
3 August 2006
  • Summary: Honestly? Frustrating...at first. Wireless router installation wizard on CD was innefective. Could not get it to work on Toshiba notebook with online install either. Tried several of the set-ups recommended by Amazon reviewers, to no avail. After many failed attempts to get the router to function, I finally gave in and called the technical support number. I should have called sooner. Contrary to some reviewers experiences, I got right through to a tech.

Works great, but quality control missed something

Sam Recycles, Amazon
2 July 2006
  • Summary: The router works great for what it is, a compact travel router. I use it at hotels to set up a wireless network. I did notice that a corner of the product was not snapped into place, and i haven't been able to snap it in myself. I wish quality Control would have caught it. This does not affect performance.
