  • Summary: Guys,The WRT54G is a 54 Mbs unit. The WRT150N is a 270 Mbs unit. Please fix your description. I see you changed the price since yesterday. BTW, I just had 2 of these fail on me within 2 weeks, so maybe you should just drop this unit entirely.

Worst router ever

Overstock
26 February 2008
  • Summary: The "easy" setup only works if you restart after each of the 10 steps, the connection is super slow (when it works at all), 1/2 hour max befor it kicks you off the internet, kicks one computer off when another tries to get online, really a horrible, horrible piece of equipment.

  • Summary: I bought this to replace a 5 years-old Netgear B wireless router... But it is definitively not worth it's price. These are the major problems I found: - Wireless connection drops randomly, and most of the times I'm required to reboot the router in order to re-establish it.

  • Summary: Team, My WRT54G died on me and I ran out and bought a 150N without reading the reviews. I have version 1.1 and with the latest firmware 1.0.1.9 from Linksys, this thing drops internet connection on both wired and wireless connections.

Random Lock Ups at any time.

G. Thomas "GT", Amazon

  • Summary: I got one of these to replace an old WRT54G, unfortunately I will be going back to the old router. This unit randomly locks up and will pass no traffic at all. The only way to reset is to pull the plug and reboot.

Not worth the plastic it came in

RW "RW", Amazon

  • Summary: Sure, this router is easy to setup. Simply remove it and the A/C adapter from the box, read the setup instructions and follow them...and you're done! Right? WRONG. Once you start doing something such as plugging in your cable or DSL modem into this thing, and then God forbid you start plugging in...
