Summary: Simply did not work. I installed it according to instructions. The Linksys software supposedly connected to the network, showing excellent connection strength, but I got no internet connection. Intermittently, Windows would show an internet connection, but on an "unidentified network", and no web pages could be loaded. I am extremely familiar with computers, and I spent 2 hours trying to troubleshoot the problem.
Summary: Using the latest drivers, the card will halt all networking just to update the network list. You can confirm this by repeatedly opening up the wireless network list and watching your ping skyrocket every time it updates. Since the issue has been around for several years and no effort has been made to amend it, I have no choice but to give this a 1 star. This was a problem in Linksys hardware on Windows XP nearly 11 years ago.
Great price, installs easily if your computer will receive one of the two brackets provided, and setup is easy.
Good Reviews, Amazon

Summary: Installed a few days ago and is running fine. Two brackets were supplied, but my computer (Asus) needed a size in-between the two supplied. Also, my motherboard required this to go in upside down. With the bracket not reversible due to how the screws attach to the adapter, and the 90° tab for the bracket screw slot, I had to take two pliers and bend the tab out in line with the wall of the bracket in order for it to fit to the motherboard and back of the computer.
Summary: Seamlessly installed in a few minutes. Windows 7 and 8 both found the drivers and installed on their own. I personally don't like Linksys wireless management software if you do a full install and prefer to just use the Windows wireless manager. If you are like me, just install the drivers using Windows and not their included CD and you'll be good to go!
I'd avoid this card if you run Windows 7 or later (64 bit, perhaps 32 bit as well)

Summary: I'd avoid this for any Windows 7/8/8.1 64-bit install. I loved this card when I got it. Totally reliable and speeds as good as my wired connection in practice. However; when I went from Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit and later Windows 8/8.1 64 bit my speeds that I was getting even on low end laptops were surpassing it. I am a Cisco CCNP in Route and Switch and have a CCNA in Wireless, so I'd say I am on the highly proficient side of getting these things up and running well.
