Summary: This was an awesome WiFi card with Windows XP. There is no way to use with Windows 7. Shame on Cisco/Linksys! Any other reputable big name company would have made the effort to support their customers. No driver means no support.
Summary: At one point I disconnected the antennae from the unit and still had full signal strength on the connection w/ my router. Never any drops (in fact, my connection w/ this remote computer is better/quicker than the connection we have w/ a CAT-5 wired connection). Highly recommended.
Very impressive works as described and some cords too short

Summary: This adapter is awesome it picks up signals from a block away. It works as described and it is easy to install. Only drawback is the length of the wires which are barely long enough for you to sit it on top of your tower. So, if your tower is under your desk or in your desk im not sure how great it would be as i have my tower on top of my desk with the antenna on top of the tower. I use this adapter with the srx router and the both of them together is unreal.
Summary: I bought the WRT54GX router and the WMP54GX wireless card together. My room is blocked by copper piping, so it's always been difficult to get a signal with "ordinary" 802.11b and -g wireless cards. The network card was easy to install. I was glad they used a wired antenna rather than one directly attached to the card. The software installation required me to reboot my PC, which I thought was annoying.
Summary: Adapter works great - Setup was simple. I do use a Linksys Router and have been very satisfied with everything. -- If you can find it for a decent price (less than 50 bucks) I say GO FOR IT !!!
Summary: The only way I could get this card to work on a Windows Vista maching is in safe mode. I used their help chat service on line and was told that they have no plans to make it compatible with Vista. I was chatting with them using the card in safe mode. it not only picked up my network but 4 others from a very long distance. This was not a big deal to me because I was planning to install Window XP on the machine anyway.
Summary: have to say this product really made my life easier!! i live in the city on the 5th floor in my bldg. i recently built an enclosed music studio in my garage space...installed this product and the LINKSYS WRT54GX4 IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless-G Broadband Router with SRX400 and life is good!!! 4 outta 5 bars for signal strength all day long with no dropped signals from 5 floors away!!
Summary: This adaptor is fantastic. We actually get BETTER speed -- 115 Mbps -- than what we get with the ethernet adaptor directly, which is limited to 100 Mbps. It can pick up signals that are at least six houses away and don't even show up on my laptop, which has a Intel 2200BG card. Easy install even when switching to a new computer. Our is about nine months old and we're still very pleased. Definitely good bang for the buck.
