Summary: The drivers Windows installs for this card are a trap. They will cause a -lot- of packets to be dropped. Please ensure that you get the latest drivers from Linksys' site and use those. Other than this, this card works well with Windows 7, Ubuntu, and Fedora.
Summary: It works, What else can I say. Plugged it in put in the cd and turned on the computer and it worked. I have it in a PC in my basement about 40 feet and one floor down from the router and I still get a good usable signal. In normal conditions I think that 50 to 60 feet is max range. Well worth the price.
Summary: Recently I added a third computer to my home network and needed a cheap way to connect it. Faced with a dilemma of going to Best Buy and buying a new wireless adapter for $50, or taking a risk and buying a refurbished one from Amazon for less than third of that, I chose the latter. What a great decision indeed! The adapter works like a charm and I have $35 left in my pocket to buy the inflatable prom date I always wanted.
Summary: i was supposed to do this review sometime in fact months ago about 4 and i have to say this card rocks i have no problems with it none what so ever, just go to the cysco website and get the updated drivers and store them some where in case something happens to your disk, im running Xp this will work on Vista just not on Win 7.
