Summary: I needed a bridge in a closet with multiple ethernet ports for my panasonic blu-ray dvd player and sony bravia internet video link. The bridge worked perfectly and I can access BD-Live on my dvd player and I can watch and download movies and internet content on my Sony Bravia LCD. If you dont have an internet connection and need to connect multiple devices with ethernet cables, this will do the job.
Pros: Its easy to set-up, easily linked with another linksys router and quickly picks-up a signal even in a closet.
Cons: The software it comes with is not as useful as the linksys router software. It is not a point and click set-up, you need to have some understanding of setting-up a network to be able to connect. You will need to log into the bridges settings on-line and enter your network security and password information.
Summary: I purchased this product in an attempt to unite my home network, consisting of three different locations: two computers and two printers. This device provided a bridge for my two printers such that any wireless device or wired device could easily print to the remotely located printers. The speeds are adequate for printing larger files.
Summary: I sat on the phone with 3 different people from tech support from Cysco for over 3 hours. I even gave remote control of my computer to them. I could not get it to work, they could not get it to work. They told me it was a bad unit and to return it to Walmart for a refund. Which I did do. I bought a D-Link and was up and running in 10 minutes. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
