The Linksys warranty is expired per the Linksys help line ...

Michael G. Barker "Mgbarker54", Amazon
15 December 2014
  • Summary: The Linksys warranty is expired per the Linksys help line. Their web site says "Your Linksys Product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year (90 days for refurbished product)." This product does not come with a setup disk. It requires some skill and a manual setup.

Not a winner

Fonce Soul Studio "ClownShoes", Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: Worked for about 4 months before giving up the ghost. I used it to run my Bitcoin miner down in the basement so as to not have to hear all of the fan noise. It was a nice stable set up and then a few weeks ago my mining pool started sending my failed worker notifications.

Works but doesn't hold an IP

Amazon Customer "-EA", Amazon
19 March 2012
  • Summary: I have the 610N behind a E series new router. I also had it behind an older 54G linksys router. Attached to the 610N I have an IP Phone (polycom) a HP Media Smart Server, a desktop, and a network laser printer. The issue is that the 610N keeps dropping the IP's. What does that mean?

Josh B., Newegg
24 January 2012
  • Summary: My old setup was a couple Linksys WRT54 routers running DD-WRT, one running as my primary router and the other as a wireless access point sitting down at my media center. Data streaming requirements finally pushed me to upgrade, so I went with what I thought would be a great upgrade to wireless-N...
  • Pros: Well, it does connect and transfer data - so that's a plus, I guess.
  • Cons: Speed nowhere near advertised. Sitting right next to a Linksys E3000 running DD-WRT this thing only moves about 50Mb/sec compared to the advertised 300Mb/sec. The easy setup didn't work, as expected, since there is no way that little button is going to figure out what your network passkey is nor ...

Stay Away from this

Scott R., Newegg
17 August 2011
  • Summary: Nothing to see here, move on.
  • Pros: Small and does not have annoying lights.
  • Cons: Linksys/Cisco consumer products have declined steadily. This product is no exception. The "wizard" tries to do everything for you giving you very little options. The connections drop quite frequently. Right next to the AP 60Mbps can be achieved, down 1-flight of stairs that speed drops to less th...

Décevant

Herve Ducouret, Amazon
24 March 2012
