Summary: Like many other users have reported, setup seemed to complete without any problems, however it drops connection after just a few minutes. Reset was the only solution... for another 3 or 4 minutes of access, then repeat.
Summary: I bought two of these. Easy setup. Both worked great for about a month. Started to drop out intermittently after 2 months. Both stopped working after 3 months and could not be detected. Excellent as paperweight if you remove the detachable wall plug.
Excerpt: It worked fine within 20 feet of the wireless signal. But when I moved it another 20 feet to where the signal needed to be, it couldn't be found by our wireless router. I ended up taking it back for a refund. I bought a TP-Link TL-WR710N instead. Plugged in a spare cable and it worked perfectly.
Summary: I have a number of laptops, and Android devices. Everything appears to connect and work for a bit, but after a few minutes internet traffic stops. The devices don't show any problems. They still show connected, but they don't get internet connectivity any more.
Summary: I purchased this extender, and despite it's ability to garner a good signal, it would randomly drop connection for 10-30 seconds. This is horrible when you're playing Xbox live, a PC game, or watching a Netflix movie.
Summary: I plugged this in and followed CISCOs instructions in an online session. The router and my in new extender began to switch signals and drop in the handoff. In the next 2-3 weeks, my wireless was so mixed up that any device connected would drop every 10-15 minutes. I would not recommend this product.
