Pros: The unit worked for a couple months at an acceptable speed
Cons: After a couple months the speed dropped to something close to dial-up speed. Terrible. Tech support was not sympathetic and I'm sure the English speaking (barely) agents were reading from a script the entire time. There is no resolution from Linksys, just "tough bounce fella"
Summary: I give this 4 stars because i am not sure if it is my internet provider or this adapter, but I get dropped connections once in awhile. I tried it on an old computer and it wouldn't work. The old computer was windows 7. I now only use it on a windows 8.1 computer and works relatively well.
Summary: Works pretty good, great price too. I have been using this USB adapter for a few days and have no single complaint. It took me only about 2 minutes to open the box, install the CD, follow the very clear instructions, and access the web at a very nice speed. Seems like a great deal.

Pros: Very good adapter but released before the updated driver. The AE6000 is using a Mediatek MT7610 chipset. Just go to the mediatek website and download the updated driver.
