  • Summary: With wireless these days time will tell but out of the box it set up in seconds and is working like a charm. I ordered 2 since I had 2 new cpu's without wireless cards in them and they are used for gaming and getting great no lag connection speeds. Very pleased.

  • Summary: I get 5 bars but had to place it high up on a top shelf to get it,when placed just 4 feet lower I got 4 bars.It is only 20 feet from its modem so would have a hard time believing it could be much further away.I thought this would be a secure connection,so I feel naked now being wireless.I was secure when it was wired.3 stars because it works, just expected more and much better range.Am actually afraid that its unsecured.I put I would recommend to a friend as long as I...

  • Summary: For the first couple of weeks, the AE1000 worked wonderfully when I used the cord to plug it into my desktop. Now, however, I am having trouble getting it to function properly. It won't connect to the internet. I might just need to reinstall the software, so I'll try that and see what happens. A positive element, though, is that there seems to be a lot of support on Cisco's website for the AE1000.

  • Summary: Constantly going from 300MB/sec down to 13Mb/sec and cutting out internet. Tested using the Old WRT54G, E1000, E2000, E3000, and new E4200 - same thing on 2 separate windows 7 64 bit machines. Also, I have returned the adapter 2x to exchange for another - this is driver related not hardware.. so until they fix the drivers 2-5 times a day I will have to disconnect/reconnect to the network because my internet is cut out.

  • Summary: I did not want to add an internal wireless card. Purchased CISCO wireless adapter. Followed simple set up. Installed CD driver and plugged into USB. Found my network and I was surfing in minutes. Very good speed. No problems.
