Excellant Bridge

Tony M., Newegg
30 December 2014
  • Pros: I have been setting up computers and networks for over 30 yrs and this bridge was very easy to setup on a Ethernet only printer. The setup was easy with simple to follow directions. Connected instantly to the router and the when added to the printer it was instant connection.
  • Cons: None at this time.

User Review

Orkieb, Walmart
4 November 2014
  • Summary: I was able to follow the instructions as it requires you to connect it to a computer to set up the wifi connection. I like the idea that you can set a static IP address to override the DHCP address. It took me a week and a lot of configuration retries to realize that the device has to keep its power to remember the configuration. If the device loses power you have to start all over again as it won't remember the WiFi connection.

Awesome adapter, router, repeater, NO IPV6 support yet - hidden features need to be enabled

Informed Buyer, Amazon
29 October 2014
  • Summary: UPDATE: I'm downgrading from 4 stars to 2 stars since I'm looking for IPv6 support. But otherwise for regular ipv4 it's GREAT but pricey. After 2 hours of working the router just hangs and it needs to be physically rebooted. I had to downgrade the firmware to get it to work reliably but no IPv6 support. Sorry I can't live with that, not for the price of this router when others are available at half the price and same size.

It works flawlessly

  • Summary: I've been using this for over 2 years to stream Netflix on a Blue-Ray player that lacks a WiFi connection. I've never had a problem and in fact it works so seamlessly that I forget it is in place. Great product from IOGEAR.

  • Pros: * Small * Very easy to set up. Clear instructions. * Working as expected. * Power from USB itself. * No signal flicking. * Cheap.
  • Cons: Only thing: It's not remembering different wifi connections. But for me it doesn't matter.

An Excellent Ethernet Alternative

Mic Mason, B&H Photo
30 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I purchased the Wi-Fi adapter for my internet radio receiver that does not have built in Wi-Fi and is too far from the router to run a cable. It works well and is very easy to set up with one button connect. Works as advertised.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up

Easy setup and works as planned

RA4US "RA4US", Amazon
12 June 2014
  • Summary: This was the first device I setup using WPS to connect a DVR for remote access. Just plug it in and pressing the WPS button on it and the router allowed it to connect to the secure router. It has been running now for two months with no issues. It is small enough to where I plugged it in and placed it behind the DVR out of the way, does not take up much space.
