  • Summary: It could have been designed a bit better. Kinda wide. Antenna add-on a good idea, but not so attractive.
  • Pros: Does what it says it does. Always a plus when that's the case. Drivers easy to install, even if you're not use to the Mac OS.

Be prepared for a fight

  • Summary: If you absolutely must have a USB wireless adapter that will work with an old G3 mac on a USB 1.1 slot, this will get the job done. Beyond that, it's a pain in the neck. If you don't have a strong tech background, I would honestly steer clear of this little adapter and go with a more proven brand.
  • Pros: It does work, sometimes - hard to find a working USB WiFi adapter for a 6 year old iBook G3 that uses USB 1.1
  • Cons: The disk it came with did not have the drivers correctly configured to work. After combing google for 5 hours I finally discovered the instructions to edit the device drivers in Terminal. The user must correct the errors that Ralink made (it's a Ralink chipset). After mucking about with terminal,...
