Worked As Expected

BWW, TigerDirect.com
13 March 2010
  • Summary: Although this worked as expected setting up a Secure Connection Required accessing the web interface which there was not alot of instructions on how to do this.. Also had to upgrade the firmware and the configuration software in order to do the initial setup on Windows 7.. All in all a good product was setup and working.

Works as advertised

  • Summary: Have my wireless router in the bedroom and 3 laptops scattered through out the house. The Hawkins is installed between the router and the furthest laptop. I have seen a considerable signal improvement since my purchase last week. The only drawback to this item is the price....you can pick it up online at Walmart for $53.00.

Excellent Range Extender at a Reasonable Price

JT, TigerDirect.com
9 February 2010
  • Summary: This Range Extender does an excellent job for about $80 and is very easy to install. Out of the box and up and running in about 30 minutes. It has a lot of bells and whistles that are more than what is needed.

Worked well initially

Mike, TigerDirect.com
24 January 2010
  • Summary: Extended range to desired location to 54 Mbps initially, but dropped to 12 to 24 Mbps later. The slowdown could be the wireless router (for cable modem) it extends or the signal from the cellular provider. I will improve my rating if I discover it was the router or service provider. The documentation was not well written or as clear orspecific as it could be. I did get an e-mail reply to a request for support, and I appreciated that.
