Summary: Had some issues with setup, and Hawking customer service, but eventually got it working with my equipment. Did not extend my range to the distance I was hoping, but definitely better than my original router. If you are in need of more than 50-75 yards of coverage, buy the 14dbi antenna and setup a remote hotspot, works great!
Summary: I purchased a google TV that I mounted on the wall in a cove behind the chimney in our family room. The brick fireplace was in the line between my modem and TV so I couldn't achieve a wireless connection. With the installation of this device I was able to solve the problem. It works perfectly.
Summary: I bit the bullet so to say, Lot of bad reviews made me 2nd guess purchasing it, but I did. I couldn't be happier. It extends my wireless network and I have no dead spots. Software seems lacking features, but not a big deal.
Summary: Surprising simple to set up and resolve minor issues without even a phone call. Neighbors complaining about my signals strength being better than theirs but I now have full coverage which is what I wanted!
Summary: Bought this hoping to extend my wireless signal. I could not get it to connect to the IP address of the Hawking Tech setup site, so I called their tech support. The techs accent was so heavy that I simply could not understand him and after him having to spell about every other word, I finally gave up. I then tried to email the tech support. The directions I got from that tech guy were ungrammatical and full of tech jargon--I couldn't understand him either.
Summary: Easy setup but reduced internet speed by 75% causing strong but slow connection. Tech support is not very helpful & hard to understand. Tech support treats you with contempt & indifference as if you are using up their valuable time. Not a pleasant experience.
