Great device

  • Summary: Added this repeater to our Church network when members complained that they did not have internet access in some of our remote buildings. took about 35 minutes to install it, including running wires through the building wall. the POE is a great feature as I was able to install it over 100 ft from the power source.
  • Pros: Great range, easy mounting, easy connection, GREAT weather resistance
  • Cons: None to date

  • Summary: Other poster is right it sucks that there are not very many products in this category to choose from, I am buying another one cause I cant find anything else.
  • Pros: Looks impressive, I have bought 3 for clients, the first one actually installed as per the instructions, the other 2 took at least an hour of resetting and programming
  • Cons: No where near a "quick setup", actually had to call tech support, they helped but. But my 3rd one is losing signal and is acting as an access point rather than a repeater.

User Review

  • Pros: It can be placed outside
  • Cons: Didn't deliver as I thought it would. I even called before purchasing. We have a metal building about 200 feet from our router where we are trying to get internet. Seeing how this repeater was advertised (on there website) at producing at 800 feet I thought it would easily produce in a building 200 feet away. It's production wasn't much better than the router by it's self.

Pass on this nightmare...

  • Summary: I have gone thru 3 of these and spent over 4 hrs with tech support (tech support is knowledgeable at least). I kept trying to make it work because it was for a good customer. Some acknowledged problems are; locks out of configuration and needs to be un-plugged (no reset button) for 12 hrs to lose bad config. Loses connectivity and requires a unplug (albeit for 15 sec) to reacquire network.
  • Pros: Sets up easy if you have a good wireless technology background.
  • Cons: Loses connectivity to wireless gateway and must be "reset" at lease once a week or every other day.
