Does just we need it to. Power EnGenius AP's

LMRoss, Amazon
29 January 2014
  • Summary: We have found that in some cases the run of the mill 4 port PoE switch doesn't quite push enough power to the EnGenuis units we install. Additionally, using an injector allows us greater flexibility in placing what we are powering as we get some extra length.

Required for any real application

Elan k, Amazon
31 October 2013
  • Summary: This is basically a requirement for anyone deploying one of the Engenius APs. Unless you're going to have a power outlet right now to it (and lets face it most of us do not), this simplifies installation of the units greatly. Only annoyance is there needs to be one per unit (and you have to check if it's a 24 or 48 power requirement before buying) so you can fill up a power strip real quick with bricks in a larger deployment.
