Summary: Used these for a temporary wireless at an outdoor arena. They worked very well had good signal at about 700 feet with them 20 feet up in the air. You have to get into it and adjust all the power settings to get the range out of it.
Summary: Everything about this product looked great. The housing, mount, antenna(s), all fine. But as others have noted I could not get the kind of thru put it should have had. I'm experienced with networking. It has dual channel and should have good speed but even when it said the connection was excellent the actual speed was dismal. 13mbs when I should have been getting 40mbs minimum.
Summary: First note: It is much larger than it looks in the picture, which can be good or bad depending on your use case. The UI is very intuitive and simple to use. The wireless connection is very stable and good at range. We plan on mounting these to poles outside, so I will be able to speak to the reliability in a few months.
Summary: It is probably not really bullet proof but it is the easiest radio to setup I have used in a long time. Great signal and decent throughput. Great throughput in AP mode but it does degrade when you start the WDS options up.
Summary: These are great products, I have installed 6 of these at different clients homes/Businesses and none of them have ever failed. They always get great signals, if they are properly set up. I have never had any problems with the connections going down during bad weather. Nicely made products Engenius! You must know what you are doing to get them to work right.
Summary: Had fifteen units in a large marina. They worked great for a couple of months. They all failed one by one . The output will fall off and finally stop transmitting altogether. Replaced them with Ext 210 and 710 versions. They are working much better and transmit with more power. It is much larger unit but has lasted without a failure so far.
