Summary: I used this for about a year now. It does work SOME of the time. However, every 2 week or so I have to reset it. But it will stop working. Sometime all I need is to power it off/on. The range is not as good as it said. Replaced all EnGenius with other newer product. I will not get Engenius again.
Greatest Wireless G range, but discontinued for a much more expensive G/N

Summary: This is a special use router. It puts out a very high power G signal and will reach through walls like crazy. You can use the base setup to crank up the output and a DDWRT disk is supplied if you want to go with open source. Only had 1 problem, probably a bad flash but they are very reliable.
Summary: Bought this to replace an old Linksys wireless router. The Engenius range was acceptable, no better and no worse than the Linksys, but I didn't read the specs close enough to realize the Engenius didn't have any LAN ports.
Summary: Using this as a repeater. Excellent signal strength and easy setup. My router is at one end of the house and I put this in the middle of my home and now all my wireless devices throughout the house get a full wifi signal. Great product.
Summary: I am an independent IT pro. I have deployed many Wifi products over the past 10 years in environments ranging from offices to campgrounds to manufacturing facilities and aircraft maintenance hangars.
Summary: After 11 months the 3500 exhibited link instability and greatly reduced range/data rate. RMA'd to engenius less antennas, CD, manual and power supply as instructed and they sent me a complete brand new one shrink wrapped in the box.
Summary: We are using this access point in our church which is built with cement block walls throughout. We've been having issues with consistent connectivity. When properly placed, the access point sends sufficient signal at about a 75 foot range (more when not going through the cement blocks).
