Summary: If they made a dual-band adapter just like this with the exact same form-factor, it would be awesome. This adapter is small enough to leave plugged in all the time without really having to worry about shearing it off by catching it on something.
Pros: Have three of these in service and all work well. Like the way it blinks blue while in use to verify operation. Utility that comes with the device is very simple yet very useful.
Cons: If you upgrade the driver and remove the Edimax utility before doing so, the new driver does not have the utility and Edimax expects you do use the Windows wireless utility which is horrible. Found that if you reinstall the original driver with utility from the mini-CD then just do an update driver, the Edimax utility will be retained.
Great product now. I'm writing a new review because I can't update my old review.

Summary: My last review was titled "OK- You get what you pay for". This is meant to update that review now that I figure out the problem. I was not able to successfully modify my old review. I am unsure if the issue was related to the device, my service provider, the router hardware, or some other hardware conflict but all is great now.
Pros: Great Price, small form factor, plug and play for windows 7.
Cons: Had to change the settings to get full speed. For a year I could not get greater than 4 Mbps down with this dongle. I did some real investigation into the issue and ended up in the device manager menu looking at some of the different settings and options. Long story short, after disabling the 802.11n wifi option I am now pulling full speed with no issues. I have ATT with a company provided modem/router and a windows 7 PC. If you are having a issue with the speed try t...
Summary: I bought this to connect my Raspberry Pi to my network. It's perfect for the job. I didn't have any problems with drivers and the connection is stable. The power consumption is low enough that it doesn't interfere with the RPi in the least. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.
Pros: Very small. Low power consumption. Decent throughput for its form factor. Works great with linux.
Cons: It's limited to 150 megabit/s, but without an external antenna, I am not surprised or disappointed.
