Summary: You get what you pay for - a small, low performance dongle for an okay price.
Pros: Incredibly small and portable - easily transportable (driver disc isn't as mobile though)
Cons: Incredibly small and portable - you can loose it if you're not careful. A permanent location might be a good idea. Speed - Slower than most. I haven't quantitatively measured it, but it functions at only 40% of the capacity of one of my more powerful 300Mbps/35dBM antennas. Range - Quite poor. Go...
Summary: The performance is 100%... gave it 3/5 stars because it isnt plug n play. Drivers need to be installed (Not a problem if u really are going to plug and forget... not good for moving from PC to PC)
Summary: Despite the cons, this is still an excellent product for its price. I know that sacrifices have to be made when you have a product at such a low price and I was willing to accept that.
Pros: Cheap wireless adapter, small, and fast. Got this for my parent's computer and so far its been working great for their needs which mainly consists of email and facebook.
Cons: When I was using it on my build for about a week, I did notice that after a couple of hours my connection would drop till I restarted my computer. I thought that was just my computer, but then the same thing happened when I plugged it in to my parent's computer. So I have to take 2 eggs for that....
Summary: I bought this from a competitor site that shipped from the US.
Pros: It works right out of the box, i did not use the cd that came with the dongle but rather i downloaded the newest drivers from the company website. Connected quickly on my desktop and am approx. 25 feet from my router.
Cons: After using it, the device seems to lock up my computer to a point where i can only shut down via a power button hold. This is definitely from this device as this is the only thing that has changed in my config and has not happened before. I have also had problems waking from sleep after using th...
Summary: the adaptor is small which is nice. My computer has a top facing USB port that I have inserted the device into, so it faces up and is not obstructed by anything. The router is 10 feet away, behind a standard bedroom wall.
Summary: I have an old computer I'm connecting to my living room TV as a media center, the only problem is this PC didn't have a wireless card. I was hoping this would give me a cheap solution to that problem.
