Carol A., Newegg
12 March 2015
  • Summary: I would highly suggest this to anyone who is not terribly tech savvy because of the easy setup.
  • Pros: Very easy setup with multiple options including using a smart phone. Solid connection through a few walls across the house.
  • Cons: None yet!

Re-Review

Steve B., Newegg
2 March 2015
  • Summary: I'm just doing a re-review after owning awhile. The device would drop blue-ray player randomly after a week of purchase. However, a simple easy to do FIRMWARE update solved the problem. This thing works great and does exactly what it says.
  • Pros: Small. Easy to use and set up.
  • Cons: Doesn't shock cats or death-ray them

Great extxender

Thomas H., Newegg
26 February 2015
  • Summary: I am about to buy another for work - great product...
  • Pros: They work well. Tech support was excellent. They helped me get one of my extenders up and running. Once I had been walked through the process the other was a breeze.
  • Cons: I was challenged setting these up, and ended up calling tech support. WPS did not work for me, and I needed to uplug my wired connection.

Great Customer Service

Kurt A., Newegg
18 February 2015
  • Pros: I never did get it to work, probably because a dead zone was not the problem. It was something to do with my browser, which was diagnosed for me on the phone by Edimax' amazing customer service girl, who really knew her stuff, not only the product itself, but how my PC worked inside and out.
  • Cons: $10.00 return shipping, but I still managed to salvage $14.00 from the purchase.

User Review

Donald K., Newegg
12 February 2015
  • Pros: This small, wireless, white device does not add clutter to the linving room tv area nor does it stand out against the white walls. Greatly improved wireless signal to smart tv. Guest bedroom dead spot is now gone. Another winner from NEWEGG.
  • Cons: None so far

Worth It

Narong T., Newegg
7 February 2015
  • Summary: Will see what happens after 3 months.
  • Pros: It works really well. Easy set up. I bought this for size and inexpensive cost. Don't really need it because we've already got a good Nighthawk router. But there is a spot in the basement with weak signal, This device brings the signal up from 35-40% to 80-85%.
  • Cons: Slow responses at the early setup!

User Review

Steve B., Newegg
4 February 2015
  • Summary: My Comp going plugged into a TP-Link wireless N300 router at 67 Mbps. Wireless beside the router at 65 Mbps. Edimax Mini is upstairs about 15 feet from router, when wireless to the Edimax speed is 45 Mbps. (I must reiterate that this is a signal from router to Edimax upstairs 15' and then back again. Another comp upstairs at near 17' away from the Edimax the speed goes to 30 Mbps. No problems with blue-ray player hookup I HAVE NOT UPDATED THE FIRMWARE TO THE EDIMAX MINI.
  • Pros: Small, the picture makes this thing look big but its really small, Maybe 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick. Does what it says. I cant see how this could be any easier to set up. Some reviews say complicated to set up, but I think those people cant find their way out of wet paper bag. Just like hooking up any other device to a router or you can just use the WPS button either way. You can link them for range extension. Every WIFI area is different IE:...
  • Cons: Would be nice to have some outside antennae on it to make a better connection to router but for $25 this isn't a Con its simply something to put here.

Best WiFi bridge solution

Timothy L., Newegg
28 January 2015
  • Summary: Remember, whoever built your house/apartment did not take in consideration of WiFi or micro reflections. Some people may only need one device while others may need 5 or more.
  • Pros: Fast, easy, simple setup. Took me less than 10 minutes to setup 3 of them through out my house. That includes changing the Naming convention for the SSID half way through. Every device in every room of the house now gets full bars! I get signal in my garage and in the back yard. I set up 2 of them as extenders and one for a bridge. It was so simple I was almost certain it wouldn't work. I was delighted to be wrong for a change. Wife's happy, kids are happy, I'm happy t...
