Summary: I was having trouble with my internet being slow, probably due to the quantity of items using wifi. I got this item to put in the middle of the house to help get better reception in the back part of my house. WORKS GREAT!
Summary: I have 2 of these and I am happy with them. 1 is running as an extender the other as a bridge to my XBox 360, both have been in service for 6 months. I have reconfigured the devices multiple times which is very easy, hold the WPS button for 10 seconds, and it resets to default.
Pros: Easy to set up and quick to reconfigure good signal strength can program with my phone using their app nice packaging, easy to plug in and hide from plain view web set up management
Cons: limited app features once programmed, need to get ip address from router or network, app doesn't connect any more
Summary: You will have to power cycle this once in a while, as all network devices need, so I can't really mark it as a con. This device allowed me to be able to use the wireless in the bathroom (the only place I couldn't reach in the house) - which is probably most important for those long reading sessions...
Pros: Cheap, effective, was able to clone network and act as a repeater. Signal now available through the whole house, and even parts outside.
Summary: I have bought 2 of these. I was a little concerned about using 2 in the same home but they are just what I needed. One is a wireless network extender and then I used the other one for a wired Ethernet printer. This was a very cheap way to make the Ethernet printer connect to the wireless network.
Summary: THIS DEVICE IS NOT JUST A WIFI EXTENDER...THINK XBOX360... I have an older xbox 360 with only a wired connection. Does it work great as a wifi extender? Yes, but if you have a computer or xbox that you need a wired connection for, this works great as well.
