Summary: I can see why Newegg doesn't really sell these anymore, you have to find it in the Marketplace. I wouldn't say this model is junk per se, just that it doesn't really seem to last. $50 for a year's worth is all that Edimax can afford for you to though without giving them more money.

Pros: It was easy to setup.
Cons: The device is useless, utterly useless. It worked well for about a week and then nothing but constant issues. It was placed in an area that had great signal and would show that it was transmitting without issue. However, 75% of the time it would stop broadcasting its SSID and I could not maintain...
Summary: Follow up to manufacturer response. I wish distance was the case here. When setting up, edimax was within 5 feet from my wireless router, so distance is definitely not the problem here. The device just didn't work as expected fro me.
