Perfect solution!

Timothy Lee, Amazon
21 August 2013
  • Summary: The only issue was with my main router. For some reason, there was an IP address conflict between the Diamond and my desktop. I found online that some other folks had faced the same issue and blamed it on the product.

so far so good *fingers crossed*

licious32, Amazon
22 March 2013
  • Summary: I have had the extender for almost two weeks. I could not get consistent wifi connection in the back bedroom, hence the need for the device. After following the instructions and setup, I now have full reception in the back. I am able to play online in my room and stream movies.

Ron Rieger, Amazon
15 January 2013
  • Summary: I could not get this device to work with my U-verse router. The manufacturer sent me a replacement but I could not get it to work either... that's just my experience.

Our signal was not good enough.

Guy with An Opinion "Nick Danger", Amazon
27 November 2012
  • Summary: We have Time Warner Cable we don't live in a really big house, 2,900 square foot, but there are bedrooms and living areas up and downstairs. We contacted Time Warner to see if the signal could be boosted to better reach a downstairs office in the front of the house as well as two upstairs bedrooms.

Careful with positioning

M. A. Cavanah, Amazon
18 November 2012
  • Summary: Once I got this device propoerly positioned in my home, it does a good job. At first I had put it too far away from the modem (maybe 30-35 feet), and it sort of split my signal into two networks. I brought it back in a little closer... (18-20 feet or so) and it does what I would expect it too.

Okay until you change network

M. League "homebuilder", Amazon
3 November 2012
  • Summary: The DR300N purchased from Amazon was easy to setup and worked as advertised. Recently we had to change our internet gateway and there does not appear to be any way to change the settings on DR300N. It doesn't reset by using a paperclip in the reset hole.

Excellent and VERY flexible

C3, Amazon
31 August 2012
  • Summary: First the reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars. It isn't as easy to access the menu as it says, but with a few simple steps you can. The instructions are VERY lacking as to the many ways this device can be used. Go to the web site and explore and keep the outside of the box.

Works

Stephen P Massey, Amazon
27 August 2012
  • Summary: It looks like a large AC Adapter. Can now walk at least 300 feet from the adapter outside of the house and have a signal strong enough to Face Time. Set up was easy and it works. Simple as that.

Seems fine with workaround for long pass phrase

P. Thompson, Amazon
24 August 2012
  • Summary: I bought this device because I was hoping that I would be able to extend the range of our wi-fi to a room in our home that doesn't get a very good signal. Setup wasn't as easy as I had hoped (I'm pretty tech savvy) but I did eventually get it.
