Summary: The antenna boosts the range somewhat and is much cheaper than upgrading all netword nodes to a newer wireless standard that promises more range. A nice feature of the DWL-M60AT is that is can be directed where you need it.
This product definitely works (if you use it correctly).

Summary: For those that want something to improve the range of their Wireless Access Point (WAP) / wireless router then what you need is an *omni* directional antenna. This is not what you're looking for.
Summary: I bought this to hook to my Dlink DI-524 router in order to reach a wireless device at the other end of the house. It did not help at all. I am returing it. I talked to a Dlink tech person and he said that the DI-524 did not have enough power to effectively drive this antenna and he was not...
Summary: I'm not seeing as much improvement in signal reception as I had hoped. Areas that were receiving acceptable signals before now show stronger reception. Areas that were marginal before show little improvement despite all efforts at antenna placement and aiming.
Summary: This little guy really works! I've got a media player (DSM-320RD - see my review of it) that I connected it to, and it drastically improved my wireless connection. I went from about 40% to 70% connectivity as soon as I plugged it in, and I can actually see the difference in speed when files are been...
Summary: Great product. Prior to my purchase of this antenna I was unable to gain a signal on my laptop from the first floor to the opposite side of the house and second floor where my router is located. I'm now able to receive an "excellent" signal rating.
Summary: I just got it today, but it does exactly what it says it does...so far. It took quite a bit of adjusting to get it just right. That's what I give 4 out of 5 stars. But I've gone from one bar to four and that's outstanding.
Summary: Didn't do the trick for me. I was trying to go through a couple of plaster-and-lathe walls, which may be too much to ask, but even then it was less effective than the stock antenna. Plus, it comes in blisterpack packaging = impossible to return. :( YMMV.
