Works great - but not support

Frank E., Newegg
8 August 2008
  • Summary: Installed with Dlink DI-724GU Office router. - had to reset all router defaults and install like new install - but is all working great after that.
  • Pros: Great speed, intuitive install, good client application.
  • Cons: Forget about tech support - useless waste of time and language barrier. More of a problem I had with my router(AP) not recognizing the client.

Annihilates onboard Dell wireless!!

Anonymous, Newegg
25 April 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this adapter due to a recent shift my company made to a "more secure" wireless solution which works great with the corporate wireless but makes being a "road warrior" difficult to impossible.
  • Pros: Super-G compatible with my D-Link DGL-4300 = 108 Mbps connection, Good standalone wireless utility, picks up more local wireless networks than Dell onboard 54G adapter
  • Cons: High power = high power consumption

  • Pros: This is a replacement for the built-in wireless adapter I have in my laptop (which has always gave me problems from day one). Followed the directions for install and have had an excellent connection throughout the house unlike the lousy wireless connection that I received with the internal wifi b...

Nice

Christopher B., Newegg
18 January 2007
  • Summary: The software it comes with is amazing ( especially after you update ) and I am very pleased with this product, D-link has done a great job on both this and the router.
  • Pros: Spectacular connection to my D-link DGL-4300 router. The integrated wireless on this laptop had 1400+ ms a few rooms away, making gaming difficult. This card has a completely maximum connection as far as I can get away from the router in the house and I get 20-50 ping depending on the game server...
  • Cons: The LED lights on the card didn't work properly until I updated the software for the card. Not really a big deal, but it would have annoyed me if I couldn't fix it.

  • Summary: Newegg is the pwnzorz!
  • Pros: Works with my Westell DSL Router! Automatically scans area to find connections :), you could litterally get on other peoples network if there is no security.
  • Cons: Doesn't come with a lazer to destroy the world :(.
