  • Summary: this AP is excellent, many environments i support use them, being poe we can stash them up in the ceiling and if they need power cycling the ethernet can just be unplugged from the switch.

  • Summary: I'd used one of these before for a cost sensitive customer and they were very happy with it. So when a small school needed to connect two offices 200' from each other, I suggested these. I configured them as WDS no problem, then took one to the office and they were out of range.

  • Summary: Very easy to configure product. I think that DLINK is a solid product in general. I have been in IT for 20 years, and I have found their products to be very stable and afordable. Good range , much better than anything that you would pickup at staples. 2 thumbs up.

Have purchased 40 of these and have never had a problem

  • Summary: I have been using this DLink model for the last two years. I have installed 40 of them in mission critical environments. I have never had one fail. They are relatively easy to configure. If you are not terribly computer savvy you may have confusion, but if you are a pc pro, no problems.

works well until warranty period is over

Amazon Customer, Amazon

  • Summary: These access points are extremely well-constructed and work well... for a time. Expect about 18-24 months of useful operation. After 18-24 months, the cheap capacitors inside bulge and start screaming. The receive error rate sky-rockets until they become practically unuseable.

My Two Cents

  • Summary: We have over twenty of these in various warehouses. They are all mounted near the ceilings where sometimes the tempatures get quite high in the summer time. They work flawlessly and do their job well in a industrial setting. For the price, they can't be beat.

  • Summary: I have installed a few of these for customers since these came out and have always been satisfied. Easy to setup with web interface, great options, range is better than any consumer grade Wireless-N even though this is only a Wireless-G!

Solid performer

  • Summary: This AP works great. Great range and speed. It didn't come with an Admin/Install guide (which would have been nice) but you can download the pdf from D-Link's website. It comes out of the box with a IP address so keep that in mind as you are setting it up for the first time.
