Summary: This is a convincing fake, it works the same as far as I can tell, but the web configuration interface was remade from scratch, with misspelled english words in it, the D-Link logo in the web interface is fuzzy, clearly not official corporate art.
Summary: I'm using this AP, along with a Netgear 802.11g PC Card to test streaming live/recorded TV to other parts of my house. Seems like a capable product even if I didn't use the 108Mbps feature. However, be sure to update the firmware or the AP might not work correctly.
Summary: I bought the DWL-2100AP to add WiFi Internet access for phones and tablets. The manual, which ships on a CD but which you can also easily find online, was easy for me to follow (I've had some experience setting up and maintaining small LANs at home and work, but I'm far from a networking expert).
Summary: Purchased 2 DWL-2100AP's to use as a bridge between 2 buildings with an unobstructed distance of about 750ft. I was expecting the usual 2-day setup headache to integrate these into the network, but to my surprise the 2100AP worked perfectly once the initial configuration was completed.
A Great Access point with Good Wireless Range and Features

Summary: I like this wireless AP a lot. I've used it for a couple different situations thus far, but it is usually my main AP for my home network. The different modes are majorly convenient as there were times when I needed a wireless client/adapter card, but didn't have one with me.
