  • Summary: Nice and inexpensive PCIe dual band wireless N300 adapter. The current version (1.0) uses the Atheros chipset (AR9382) so better download the latest driver version from Station-Drivers.com instead of using the D-Link ones.
  • Pros: - Price, - PCIe, - Compatible with generic Atheros drivers
  • Cons: - None

Flawless Hardware

Silhouette, Amazon
3 November 2013
  • Summary: The installation process was enjoyable and straight forward and simply worked well. The actual D-Link software seems out of place with a lot of overlapping features with Windows 7.

Good card but...

  • Summary: A cheaper card could do the same job. 50$ for this is not necessary. PCIexpress gives you space for other components

Connection is VERY unreliable

Joey M, FutureShop
27 January 2013
  • Summary: Overall, I am quite disappointed with this product. While it was easy to set up, my recommendation is to NOT purchase this adapter if you don't intend to use your desktop in the same room as your router (which is pretty much everyone's intention). After approximately nine months, its connection performance has proven to be very unreliable.

Awesome product

The.Watcher, Amazon
11 January 2013
  • Summary: Small PCI adapter, very easy to install and I haven't once experienced a dropped connection where the card was at fault (only my router). I did not use DLink's connection manager software since I've had bad experiences with the company's programs in the past, but Window's default connection manager works flawlessly. Not a single bad thing to say about it so far.
