Summary: It's cheap and it works (when it wants to). I have a TP-LINK USB adapter in a computer 10 feet away and it works perfectly fine. It's not in a strange position considering the router is directly above the PC this is in.
Pros: Easy and quick setup. Software can be ignored if you use the windows wi-fi setup.
Cons: A mystery to use. I was having absolutely atrocious performance. I put my router in G mode only like another reviewer said and it seemed to do the trick. Been up and down but it seems to be performing like it should lately.
Summary: ok so after further playing with this adapter all day the N mode actually is pretty bad. maybe because im above one floor and maybe its the house materials or for whatever reason but i was only able to download at under 1mbps.
Pros: good signal in G mode only. downloads are above 20 mbps.
Cons: only the G mode works. when i set my N router to any other mode like N i dont get any download speed past 1mbps.
Cons: slower then my G adapter... was upset with the distance and speed of internet. def my G adapter was at least double the speed. i uninstalled it and tried both again and again and each time it proved horrible. i checked through speed test for results.
Summary: I have a tinny little all Plexiglas case. (It's a gaming rig). I was afraid this little add on would either Block one of the fans on my XFX Radion 7800 Video card or become an eye sore. But nope, it's tiny. Fit's with everything real well and barely noticeable.
Pros: Easy set up. fast download speeds. Used on a ASUS Micro ATX Form factor Mother board. Using it right now to make this review =p
