It works ok, but speeds are all over the place

it's all gone to the dogs, Amazon
14 August 2014
  • Summary: We recently moved my router to our upstairs bedroom for better whole house coverage. My gaming computer is down the hall about 40' and I'd tried an internal wifi adapter but it didn't want to play nice with my router and Windows 7. So I bought this. I occasionally get max speeds of 32Mbps which is what my internet is capped at. However, more often I see around 5-9 even on full strength signal.

You would think that this would include a small inexpensive stand.

Don Raymond Boyce, Amazon
9 August 2014
  • Summary: So far, this works but for what I paid for it. You would think it would come with a small stand so you could stand this up right and away from your computer so that it can pick up a better signal from your Wi-Fi source for many of these types do come with a extension cable and platform so that you can set it up right on.

Great Product

zach, Amazon
6 August 2014
  • Summary: I have a belkin dual band router. My laptop has a network card that would only allow me to connect to the 2.4ghz band. This connection was too slow for my liking. So, I bought this product. It works as suggested (and better!). I'm able to connect to the 5ghz network and fast. Not only that but the signal is stronger (whereas it would have been a weak to moderate signal is now showing up as strong).

Great For Desktops W/Limited Slots!

Richard T. Bearse, Amazon
2 August 2014
  • Summary: This Wireless USB Adapter was a Godsend! Todays motherboards use mediocre network adapters (unless you buy extras to extend the range). As long as you have MORE than enough USB slots, this Adapter has great range & reliability! I HIGHLY recommend it!

"I ain't got time for that!"

Tami D, Amazon
29 July 2014
  • Summary: Does not work as advertised. I do not get the speed an AC adapter should get and I have an AC dual band router also a D-link. It actually is slower than my N adapter from Linksys. It cuts out on occasion and speed goes up and down, inconsistent. "Who's got time for that?

  • Summary: This adapter works well. Have this paired with a D-Link 868L router. Signal strength is near 100%, however am fairly close to the router so YMMV.

Bedro, FutureShop

  • Summary: This adapter works well. I am using it with DIR-865L. Signal strength is excellent - one floor between the router and wireless adapter. Streaming HD and playing online games and have had no issues.
